A useful business photo answers a question. Where is the entrance? What does the product look like? What should visitors expect? For a Laguna listing, a small set of clear, current images can explain more than many near-identical pictures.

Start with four useful views

Photograph the public entrance from a permitted position. Add a representative product or service detail, a wider view for context, and one practical feature customers ask about. Include a feature only if it is actually available.

For a home-based or appointment-only business, use an appropriate product or service image instead of exposing a private address. A precise residential location is not needed just to make a photo set look complete.

Make the real subject easy to see

Clean the immediate area, keep the subject sharp and use uncomplicated framing. Choose light that shows the product honestly and avoid filters that materially change colour, size or finish.

Keep a wide original with breathing room so a thumbnail crop can work. For services, use a genuine, authorized example. Do not present stock or AI images as evidence of a project your business completed.

Check the rest of the frame

Look for faces, private documents, addresses, number plates or screens you did not intend to share. Ask permission before using identifiable people or work belonging to someone else. A customer or staff photograph should be a deliberate choice.

Explain what is shown in captions. Google’s image guidance also recommends descriptive filenames and useful alt text. Keep descriptions relevant rather than repeating location keywords. Identify an illustration as an illustration.

Send a concise set for review

Choose a few different images and explain which should be the cover. Use Suggest an Update with your listing link and a public, authorized photo source. The form does not need private documents; changes are reviewed before appearing.

If the business is not listed, start with Submit a Listing and the listing guidelines.
