This notice explains how Laguna Directory handles information provided through this website.
Information you submit
Listing, correction and contact forms collect your name, email, message and the business information you choose to provide. Listing forms also request a location, category, business address or service area, and optional public contact details, source website and coordinates.
Your submitter email is stored privately for review and follow-up. Public business information may be published after review when you have authorized its submission.
Why information is used
Information is used to review listings, evaluate corrections, respond to messages, and maintain the directory. Form submissions are stored in this WordPress website. Authorized site administrators and the hosting provider may process information as needed to operate the service.
Security and spam prevention
The forms use security tokens and spam controls. A salted hash derived from the network address is retained temporarily to limit repeated submissions; the form rate-limit record expires after 15 minutes. Hosting and security systems may maintain their own technical logs.
Maps and external websites
Map tiles load from OpenStreetMap when you choose Show Map. Your browser then contacts that service and shares the technical connection information needed to retrieve the map. Directions and business website links take you to external services governed by their own policies.
Retention and your requests
Submissions are retained while needed to review and resolve the request or maintain published information. Administrators should review stored messages regularly and remove personal information that is no longer necessary.
You may request access, correction, or removal of information through the Contact page. Please identify the listing or information concerned without sending unnecessary sensitive documents.
